Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions, Inc. has a long term client located in the Midwest. With 421 inpatient beds, a Level I Trauma Center serving the center of the state and multiple outpatient clinics throughout the region the system is a healthcare leader serving a population base of 500,000 people. Comprehensive has helped develop their Wound Healing Center into a clinical and financial success since 2000. | ||||||||||
| This small outpatient clinic was carved out of four vacant treatment rooms. By the 3rd year of operation it already saw over 500 new patients per year totaling roughly 5000 visits. By the end of the year 2005 the clinic will have seen close to 700 new patients and generated over 4 million dollars in associated revenue per year. As the interdisciplinary team grew it became appropriate to change the clinic’s name. It is now called the Limb Preservation and Wound Healing Center. | |||||||||||
| In August 2005 Comprehensive helped the Limb Preservation and Wound Healing Center develop its own hyperbaric program. Comprehensive provided the chambers, brought in expert staff with over 20 years of experience in HBO, developed the policies and procedures, the forms, and the systems to bill properly. Within 1 month the schedule was full and exceeded its pro forma. More importantly, patients with complex needs that had never been served by the hospital before suddenly had their needs met right at home and are healing. That is what makes it worth it! |
