MyWoundChart is Comprehensive’s newest offering. Frustrated with software that thinks like a programmer and not like a clinician forcing us to use multiple clicks to get to the needed information, our nurses got together with a highly specialized programming team and designed a wound care EMR. It is based on code that already is in use at 200 hospitals nationwide and over 400 clinics. It is the oldest, most improved upon, most comprehensive EMR in the nation. Yet, it did not have any way to document, track, graph, report wound care related information. So, we designed it!
Knowing that Physicians hate to dictate or write detailed notes we set out to create a system that decreases documentation time for Physicians and enhances overall quality of documentation. We worked with the programmers to keep all information only a few clicks away allowing the clinician to feel supported knowing that they really do have all information on their finger tips. Your patient’s healing rate pops up as you enter measurements, your pictures download right into the patient chart, your reports are only a few clicks away. Combine that with the typical EMR components like a medication list with a built in PDR that is updated daily, CPT codes and ICD 9 codes that are updated quarterly, orders, allergy lists, procedure lists, and reminders and you have a complete chart!
