About MyWoundChart
Frustrated with EMRs that don’t “think” like a clinician and were designed by programmers, our nursing team got together with a fantastic programming team and designed a wound care work flow on top of a powerful existing EMR that is in use in over 200 hospitals and 400 clinics nationwide.
Our main objectives were:
- Less clicks
- Save physician time
- Easy to use
The resulting product is MyWoundChart. It is easy to enter data. It thinks like a clinician, you don’t get lost in the pages; you always have the patient’s healing rate right within reach. Pictures get uploaded right in the treatment room straight into the patient’s chart. What a relief!
Training is easy too. After 1 hour of training users can fully utilize the entire EMR with its medication lists, orders, lab results, diagnosis and ICD 9 and CPT codes, and all that jazz! It is a dream to work with!
